We know Gangs exist, but how much do we really know about them? What makes a Gang? How are they affecting our community? How can our Community help?
Why do we have gangs?
Come and educate yourselves and your loved ones on what is going on in the community around you. Listen to the ones on the front lines, questions, express your concerns and if you want to learn how to help or get help you find out how. Together we can make a difference, but first we must understand.
When we have these discussions, we have understanding.
When we have understanding, we have empathy.
When we have empathy, we have people helping each other.
When we have people helping each other, we have a community working together.
When we have a community working together, we have a village.
It takes a village!

Join Delegate Guzman, Virginia League of Conservation’s Executive Director Mike Town, and the Deputy Secretary of Natural Resources for an Environmental Town Hall at Old Bust Head Brewing Company in Warrenton, VA on August 18th at 12:00 noon.
Join us for a discussion about the environment and how we can work to leave a habitable place for our children to grow up in.
Bring us questions, comments, and ideas for legislation that I can bring down to Richmond to help better our communities. Lets work together to keep Virginia clean, green, and beautiful.
At this event, we want to highlight the what the pipelines mean to the people of Union Hill who are facing the building of a compressor station 70 feet from their homes. The compressor station has a kill zone which Dominion cannot even define. We want to highlight the danger to the drinking of water of over 400,000 people.
We have to continue to shine the light on how bad the Moutain Valley Pipeline and Atlantic Coast Pipelines for the environment, for peoples, health. People will die.
At the same time, we also want to tell the world that we want Renewable Energy.
We’re doing this on a weekend hoping lots of people will STAND UP FIGHT BACK. This is everyone’s issue not just the people who are directly in the path of the pipelines.
Hopefully, by the middle of August, we will all dry out, but even it we are all still hoping that Noah comes along with his ark, Ginger has the perfect house for a picnic — rain or shine.
The Picnic and the Christmas Party are free for E-PW members current on their dues. If you would like to join us for the picnic and you are not member, the charge is $20.00. BUT WAIT. You can join E-PW for only $15.00 and then you don’t have to pay anything. And while our brunches are pot luck events, this one has all the food and non adult beverages supplied.
You can, of course, bring something to share and we won’t turn you down. And as long as you are 21 or older, you can also bring the adult beverage of your choice.
E-PW looks forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, 18 August.

Encourage others to participate! With a Democratic majority we could make even more progress in environmental protection, gun violence prevention, social justice, civil rights, and all sorts of other issues. The 2019 election will be a challenge, with no state-wide offices to draw funds and votes. The blue wave can’t happen without our sustained financial support.
